I am currently completing my internship at Gameloft Barcelona, one of Gameloft’s key studios and a major contributor to the long-running Asphalt franchise. Gameloft is a global video game company known for developing successful mobile and cross-platform titles such as Asphalt, Modern Combat, and Dungeon Hunter.
My main role is Level Design for Asphalt Legends Unite, where I design and build race track sections from scratch. I work closely with the art and design teams to ensure the levels are faithful to the game’s established style, while respecting technical and production constraints.
I have also contributed to Car Creation, focusing on vehicle balancing, tuning, and gameplay testing. This involved working with Excel-based data, internal tools, and extensive testing to adjust vehicle performance and ensure balanced gameplay.
Overall, this internship has given me hands-on experience in iterative level design, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and data-driven design within a production environment.
